Need to pull up our socks for decider: Hussey

Sydney, Sep 2: Mike Hussey has urged his Australian teammates to stay positive and put their heavy loss in the second ODI behind them, and pull up their socks for the Monday night's decider in their three-game series against Pakistan in the UAE.

Despite the extreme and suffocating humid conditions in Abu Dhabi, Pakistan chased down Australia's 9-248 with 38 deliveries and seven wickets to spare.

"It didn't go well but we need to put that game behind us and come in with a really positive frame of mind and come in for one huge effort in the third game," the Sydney Morning Herald quoted Hussey, as saying.

Hussey claimed that it was similar to playing in Chennai, "where walking out to bat leaves a player drenched in sweat."

Australia had won the toss but found themselves in trouble at 4-87 with the dismissals of Matthew Wade (seven), Warner (24 off 68 balls), Michael Clarke (37) and David Hussey (duck).

Mike Hussey top-scored with 61, sharing half-century partnerships with George Bailey (39) and Maxwell (28 off 27 balls).
